India was one of the first nations to acknowledge Azerbaijan's independence in 1991.
India and Azerbaijan conducted a thorough review of all aspects of their bilateral ties, including political, trade and economic, consular, cultural, and educational issues during the 5th round of foreign office consultations in Baku on Monday.
They also discussed collaboration in the UN and other international organisations as well as regional challenges.
