Indian expressed its gratitude to Namibia for the trans-location of Cheetahs to India
During the 4th round of Foreign Office Consultations between India and Namibia on Thursday, both sides conducted a comprehensive assessment of their current bilateral relations, including enhancing cooperation in development partnerships, trade and investment relations, energy, defence, agriculture, health, and art and culture, as well as education.
They also exchanged views on regional issues as well as cooperation in multilateral fora such as the United Nations, International Solar Alliance (ISA), Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.
Furthermore, during the consultations, the Indian side conveyed its gratitude to the Namibian government for the cooperation in the trans-location of Cheetahs from Namibia to India and expressed the hope that this cooperation would grow further.
The talks were held in Windhoek, Namibia. The Indian delegation was led by Puneet R. Kundal, Joint Secretary (East and South African division) whereas the Namibian delegation was led by Ambassador Sabine Bohlke Moller, Head of the Bilateral Relations and Cooperation Department, Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation.
The next round of Foreign Office Consultations will take place in New Delhi on mutually convenient dates.
