India is now at an inflection point, he said while interacting with the India diaspora in Dubai
India has become the beacon of growth for the world, Union Minister of State for Electronics & IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar said on Saturday.
He was speaking with members of the Indian diaspora at the Vishwa Sadhbhavana event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Chandrasekhar asserted that India has today become the "beacon of growth for the world" because of the country's courageous reforms, which have flipped the conventional wisdom that India is a "dysfunctional democracy" on its head.
"India is now at an inflection point. From where we are today, in the coming 25 years of Amrit Kaal, India can go only forward and that would be the natural next point in its development journey," he said.
The Minister stated that India is now a "living and breathing example" of a nation that is not only plural, secular, and diverse but also one that originally stood for economic development, innovation, growth, and prosperity.
At the event, MoS Chandrasekhar also launched two books named "Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery" and "Heartfelt: The Legacy of Faith," based on the effects of PM Narendra Modi's 20 years in office.
The Minister attended this event while on a day-long trip to Dubai. Earlier, he had a meeting with Omar Sultan Al Olama, the UAE's Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, the Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, during which he shared with him Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for the New India and the potential for bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of deep technology, AI, electronics, and semiconductors.
He also traveled to Ajman to take part in the Deepotsav 2022 celebration that was hosted by the IPF UAE Uttar Pradesh Council.
