The two sides also exchanged views on global issues and security
Taking stock of bilateral as well as global issues, India and Georgia on Wednesday agreed to enhance cooperation in multilateral fora.
The issues were discussed at the sixth round of Foreign Office Consultations (FoC) between India and Georgia held in Tbilisi.
"During the FoC, both sides reviewed the entire gamut of bilateral relations, including political, economic, cultural, tourism, education and consular matters," said the MEA.
The two sides also exchanged views on global issues and the security situation in their respective regions, and agreed to enhance cooperation in the multilateral fora, the MEA added.
It was agreed to hold the next round of consultations in New Delhi at a mutually convenient date.
The Indian side was led by Secretary (West) Sanjay Verma and the Georgian side was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Khvtisiashvili.
